Mariana is the Advocacy Director at PANA, tasked with overseeing and managing all organizing campaigns and supervising staff. She has two decades of experience working in both human rights and immigrants’ rights, nationally with the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project as Education Coordinator and internationally with the National Commission for Human Rights of Mexico as Area Director for the U.S. Mariana is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and has dedicated her career to social justice for immigrants in the U.S. and abroad.

Mariana has experience working in both the non-profit and government sectors, having worked in the San Francisco based Latino Network, Global Exchange and more recently with the San Diego County Registrar of Voters. She brings experience and passion for advocacy as well as an understanding of domestic and international immigration policies.
