Community Resource Fair – Join us and share!

Hi Partners, 

I’m reaching out to ask for your help sharing information about our upcoming Community Resource Fair with families and community members you work with.

We are co-hosting this event with the Housing Commission. At a time when many families are going through Section 8 updates and changes to their family contribution amounts. This is an opportunity for families to get information, ask questions, connect directly with the Housing Commission, and access organizations that can provide support with other needs including health, access to food, transportation, and much more. 

Community Resource Fair
Saturday, August 29, 2026
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
5555 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92105

Families will have the opportunity to connect with community organizations and learn about community resources including:

• San Diego Housing Commission-Section 8 information 
• Job training, employment, and career opportunities
• Food Bank resources and food assistance
• MTS transportation resources
• UDW programs and support for workers and families
• Other community programs and supportive services

We want to make sure families know about these resources and have an opportunity to connect directly with organizations that can help.

Please partner with us to spread the word by sharing the attached flyer with your clients, families, email lists, social media networks, and community partners. Your help in reaching families who may benefit from these resources is greatly appreciated.
