PANA expresses deep appreciation to the Karen Organization of San Diego for initiating this event and making this unique and urgent conversation possible.
This exchange was designed for participants to learn how communities are experiencing refugee reception and inclusion in San Diego, Japan, and Korea. An opportunity to establish meaningful connections and shared learning across these communities, the event was free with limited seating.

The panel featured special visiting guests comprised of a delegation from Japan and South Korea, as well as a Dr. Faith Nibbs of the Forced Migration Upward Mobility Project (FMUMP).
