WORLD REFUGEE DAY 2019

Dearest friends,

We invite you to participate in an international day of observance on World Refuge Day, Thursday June 20th, 2019. This important day is a time to stop and remember the millions of people fleeing global violence and persecution. 

The Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans - PANA is a people-led movement with a simple vision: ensure refugee families have a fair shot at rebuilding a sense of home, belonging, and an equal opportunity to lead full and meaningful lives.

This week is a celebration of the courage and resilience of refugees, recognizing the hardships we’ve faced, the new lives we’ve created, and the positive impact we have on our communities.

Your continued support will be critical in helping PANA build capacity in the weeks ahead to handle the aftermath of the Supreme Court ruling on the Census2020 Citizenship question, prepare for 2020 elections, and continue to invest in the leadership and power of our former refugee and newcomer families. 

This World Refugee Day, we have a goal to raise $5,000 from 100 new donors. Please help PANA reach our goal in remembrance of this important day by giving: 

• $25 to receive a World Refugee Day 2019 PANA postcard

• $50 to get Ibtihaj Muhammad's inspiring book

• $100 to get the book and a #SchoolsNotPrisons t-shirt

• $250 or more to gain access to a special invite-only PANA catered event

• Any amount to advance meaningful freedom for all
